What is tranzlato?
tranzlato is an AI language tutor you talk to out loud. You pick a real situation, like ordering at a café or introducing yourself at work, and practise the conversation with a patient tutor that answers in your new language. When you get stuck, you see a translation of every line, and after the conversation you get gentle corrections with the right way to say it.
tranzlato has two parts. Speak is live conversation practice with the tutor, starting with French. Read lets you paste any text, translate it, rewrite it more naturally, hover a word to see its meaning, and listen to it read aloud.
Is tranzlato free?
Yes. Early access is free while we test with the first learners. Join the waitlist and we will send you an invite.
Which languages can I practise?
Speaking practice starts with French, from beginner to upper intermediate. More languages are on the way, and the Read tab already translates between many languages.
Do I need to be good at the language already?
No. The tutor adapts to your level. Beginners get short, simple sentences and a translation of every line. Advanced learners get natural, fast conversation.
How is tranzlato different from a flashcard app?
Flashcards teach words. tranzlato makes you use them. You speak, you are understood, you are corrected, and you try again, which is how confidence in a new language actually grows.
